SNOW.. & Life

About SNOW today(Fri), I felt that it was the first time I really 'worshiped' God. How weird, being a Christian for many years I simply slumbered through time.. stagnant and not growing- Until recently, I seriously felt that I have to seek a change..

I want to step out of my comfort zone and learn more about God.. And also use my talents to expand His kingdom. Being spiritually refreshed after SNOW, I do hope to survive through life this week.. Projects, School etc.. In my disorientation with life currently, I ask God for strength to overcome my fears & uncertainty..

Well, thx for reading all the way here. Noticed that there's some music playing? And yea, I do know about the Blood Red Cells Background, so around what you're reading(meaning the background) is something more balanced. =)

let's just say SNOW was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!! HAHA! Seriously, i really think it's the best among the past few SNOW! HAHA. It's simplicity really magnified God, Jesus. Since the start of service, the Spirit was there. The sweet sweet spirit lingering in the sanctuary. It's just so good. During worship, the God just kept pouring non-stop. Seriously, NON-STOP! It was so much to the extent that i actually told God that He is overwhelming me. LOL. It's really to the overflow. What's amazing was i always have problems being still and waiting on God, but i had no problem keeping still today! It's just so serene and peaceful. I mean can you actually be overwhelmed by the Spirit? LOL. Yupps, it's really really a great session other than the distracing sight on stage. >< HAHA! Yupps, GOD IS SOOOO WONDERFUL!

On high now and with much love,
VANNNN!<=

Hosanna
Verse 1
I see the king of glory
Coming down the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes
I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing

Chorus
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

Verse 2
I see a generation
Rising up to take the place
With selfless faith, with selfless faith
I see a new revival
Staring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees, we're on our knees

Bridge
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me
Break my heart for what is yours
Everything I am for your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

Hosanna

After listening to this song, i was wondering how much we probably have missed with all the mugging and being occupied with so many gazillion things at the moment. I couldn't help but wonder when was the last time i asked God what He wants me to do? And when was the last time i told God what He needs to do for us? I'm guessing the latter will be the more recent one. It's my prayer then that He will open our eyes to the things unseen and we will no longer be blinded by the busyness of our schedule.

Lord, help us to put You first in all we do and please give us a nudge when we fail to do that.

many loves from wherever I am!

surprise guys!
I'm now writing this in Ho Chih Minh cos I miss you all. Being away has given me a chance to take a break from everything, but at the same time it has helped me to realize the importance of being in a church community and also serving Him! More of that when I come back...

How are you all!!!!! Holidays now right? I hope everything has been good, that norm hasn't been bullying you all and vice versa, and that megacell has been proceeding well too. While I wish I could be back in church every Sunday, I'm still having the time of my life here. I can totally be a kampong girl la! Love how the kids plucked random leave aand asked me to eat it, and how we bathe with well water and can never feel really clean.

oh but on the 2nd week of the trip I fell ill with a fever and diarrhoea, and I think the highlight of the trip has been just that la - shit. More than two-thirds of my team got diarrhoea you know! One friend even had to go to the toilet more than 20x at the peak of her suffering. Thank God this backpacking trip it has been good so far, and my stomach hasn't been giving me much problems.

ok more on myself when I come back, but I wanna hear from you guys!!! The blog seems so dead :( I'll be leaving for Hoi An tomorrow and will probably only reach on Sunday morning (it's a 24hr bus ride hahaha), but don't know if can get internet there. So I'll check the blog again when I'm there or in Hanoi next week, and there'd better be something ar! haha. Take care you guys! :)
