Hi guys! Well, I decided to make a post to keep this Blog going...
The analysis:
A quarrel is a quarrel?? Not quite... I think of quarrels as a game of chess, one which requires us to put some strategy into use.
In Chess, there are 3 commonly found endings:
-Checkmate (an opponent's king is so grilled it(as in the chess piece) cant escape)
-Stalemate (either player cant move any other piece except the king, and moving the king will put it in check)
-Draw (both players decide that playing chess was kind of lame crap when there is something better to do)
In real life, these 3 endings would mean:
-Checkmate:
Perhaps u can call this a bad ending. If you take the view point of the victor, he would probably have fried his opponent real "good". The results would be a temporary or permanent break in friendly relations.
-Stalemate:
The worst "ending", its a point where both parties cant decide on a victor... That'll probably result in a cold war and/or more chess games in the future.
-Draw:
The best but (sometimes) hardest to achieve way of resolving things. Basically both parties decide that quarreling over something wasn't a good idea, and decide to use a different approach to solve matters.
You, They, God, Satan
What are the results that are intended??
You- Checkmate, Draw(perhaps)
They- Checkmate, Draw(not always)
God- Draw (I think... I'm not God you know.)
Satan- Stalemate
I'll only be talking from the view point of God & Satan...
But first, bear in mind that I am neither of them, and this is an analysis
God-
"Why the draw!? He/She was like so unreasonable and...urgh!!" we might say. But did we(assuming in the situation of a quarrel) consider things like "Love your neighbour as you would love yourself", "Forgive and forget"...
When in a quarrel, we should not think of ourselves as always being right (even if we are)... Of course many would say "DUH!!" but do remember that in a quarrel some of us actually lose our ability to analyse the situation fairly.
"Forgive and forget", it isn't easy but we shouldn't give up- another friend is better than another enemy... It isn't that easy to adopt this approach in all situations, but do remember not to stay in a Stalemate position for too long. When in doubt- seek help from someone that you trust, or pray to God for help (He'll never leave you in the lurch)
Satan-
You are right in the first place!... He/She caused the misunderstanding!... Do you want to prove that you are weak if u give up?... You hate him/her!! Fight back (in words)!... Do you fear to lose?.. Are YOU a loser?
Sounds familiar?? Its HIS work... the ever accusing SATAN! In fact, his aim would most probably to drive both parties into a checkmate through a stalemate. If he wins, everyone who plays into his game loses and would have sinned badly.(after which he would point more fingers to all the worldly people in front of God). Would we crumble to his lies?
*I do not wish to incite hatred towards Satan, my intentions are for us to recognise the source of the voices that ring in out minds when we are faced with such a situation.
Well thats all... note that I,You,He,She,We,Us,They are all used as a general point of view, they do not directly refer to anyone. And please dun fry me for this, i just felt driven to write this topic.
